2. How Shipping Works on Caboodle

2.1 Direct Business Fulfillment

When you place an order on Caboodle, we instantly forward it to the relevant Irish business through their connected Shopify store. This means you get the same fast, reliable delivery service as if you ordered directly from their website.

Process: Order placed → Instantly forwarded to business → Business prepares and ships → You receive tracking information

2.2 Tracking & Updates

You'll receive tracking information and delivery updates directly from the business, just as if you had ordered from their website. This includes email notifications about order status changes, shipping updates, and delivery confirmations.

2.3 Multiple Business Orders

If you order from multiple businesses in one transaction, each business will fulfill their portion of your order separately. You may receive multiple packages and tracking numbers, but as a member, all deliveries are completely free.

Address Requirements: All deliveries must be to addresses within the Republic of Ireland. During checkout, you'll need to provide a complete Irish address including county and Eircode where available.

To ensure successful delivery, please provide the following information during checkout:

Important: Double-check your address details before placing your order. Incorrect addresses may result in delivery delays or additional charges from the courier.

Delivery times depend on the individual business fulfilling your order and their chosen courier service. Most Irish businesses offer the following delivery options:

6. Address Updates & Changes

6.1 During Checkout

You can update your shipping address for each order during the checkout process. Your address will be pre-filled based on your previous orders for convenience.

6.2 After Order Placement

If you need to change your address after placing an order, please contact the relevant business directly as soon as possible. Contact details will be provided in your order confirmation email.

7. Delivery Issues & Support

7.1 Delayed or Lost Orders

  1. Check your tracking information for updates
  2. Contact the business directly (details in your order confirmation)
  3. If unresolved, contact Caboodle support for assistance
  4. We'll work with the business to resolve the issue quickly

7.2 Damaged Items

Contact the business immediately with photos of the damage. Most businesses will arrange a replacement or refund promptly.

7.3 Missing Packages

First check with neighbors and any safe places where packages might be left. Then contact the business to investigate with their courier.

8. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are handled through Caboodle's streamlined process in partnership with each business:

  1. Visit your Member Dashboard and find the order
  2. Request a refund with reason for return
  3. Business reviews and approves the refund request
  4. Admin processes the refund to your original payment method
  5. You receive confirmation and refund within 3-5 business days

Return Shipping: Businesses may provide prepaid return labels for defective or incorrect items. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs may apply as per the business's policy.
